Using FDA-cleared CosmoPen, microneedling is a non-invasive process that creates thousands of microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, known as collagen induction therapy for the face, neck, and décolletage.

Microneedling stimulates collagen production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, minimizes large pores, lightens excess pigment, and improves the appearance of scars related to acne and surgery. Patients usually begin to see results after the second or third treatment in the series, although some patients see results immediately. After the last treatment in the series, the full effect can be seen within one month.

Microneedling with PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of the skin. It involves using a device to create tiny punctures in the skin and then injecting a solution of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) into the wounds. The PRF helps to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, which can help reduce wrinkles and scars, improve skin tone and texture, and help with skin rejuvenation. PRF treatments for hair restoration act like fertilizer for your hair. The treatment will require a series of three to four sessions. A 4-6 week interval is allowed between each treatment to allow the hair to grow. Optimum results are usually seen over a 4-9 month time frame.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling uses a CosmoPen device to make micro-injuries in the skin. The micro-injuries stimulate collagen and elastin production through a healing response. This will give your skin a more youthful appearance.

Who can benefit from Microneedling?

You’re a good candidate if you prefer a procedure with minimal downtime that doesn’t require surgery to improve fine lines, wrinkles, or acne.

When will I see the results?

After treatment, you will see your skin will have a glow to it and you will notice that within 24 hours to two weeks post, optimal results. All of these results are usually 4 to 6 weeks post treatment and it recommended that 3 to 6 sessions are done.

Will I have any downtime?

Microneedling doesn’t require downtime, so you won’t have to miss work while recovering. Microneedling can cause redness, swelling, and sensitivity in the first 24 to 48 hours. There may be a sunburned appearance, redness, dryness, and tightness that subsides after a couple of days.
